Traffic Advisory – Smokey Drive – Stormwater System Maintenance

(July 9, 2024) From 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM today, GFL, on behalf of Halifax Water, will be performing stormwater system maintenance on Smokey Drive, Lower Sackville. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area.

There will be stop-and-go traffic from 203 Smokey Drive to Glendale Drive. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks will remain open.

Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.

We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure repair work may cause.
