Traffic Advisory – Westmount Street – Water Lateral Replacement
(March 8, 2022) From 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Wednesday, March 9, Halifax Water crews will be on-site working to replace a water service lateral near 2420 Westmount Street, Halifax. This work will not impact water service in the area. Westmount Street will be open to local traffic only. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. The sidewalk near this work will be closed. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones. We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure repair work may cause.
