Traffic Advisory – Windmill Road – Hydrant Repair
(August 22, 2023) From 6:00 PM on August 22 to 6:00 AM on August 23, Halifax Water crews will be repairing a hydrant near 612 Windmill Road, Dartmouth. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area. There will be an outbound lane reduction with two-way traffic maintained. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. The sidewalk near this repair will be closed with a pedestrian detour in place. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones. We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure repair work may cause.
