Water Main Break & Public Access Advisory – Long Lake Provincial Park
(Saturday, May 6, 2023) Halifax Water crews are on site of a water main break adjacent to Long Lake Provincial Park.
Halifax Water crews are working to isolate the flow, and both Environment Canada and The Nova Scotia Department of Environment have been notified.
Anyone using the Long Lake Trail should be cautious and keep a safe distance from the break site. A taping barrier will be placed around the worksite for safety reasons.
Residents in the Cowie Hill area may experience discolored water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear.
