Water Service Advisory – Halifax Peninsula – Water Main Repair
(August 24, 2023) Halifax Water crews are responding to an emergency water main repair near Cogswell Street, Halifax. Customers in South End and Downtown Halifax may experience changes in water pressure, temporary loss of water service, or discoloured water. Crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to isolate the leak to restore service to customers in these areas. Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear.
