On February 20, 2025, Halifax Water crews are on site for an emergency water main repair due to third-party construction activity near 509 Herring Cove Road, Halifax. Water service will be temporarily shut down in this area. Currently, there is no estimate for service restoration time.

Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Additionally, motorists are reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
