Water Service Advisory – Herring Cove Road – Water Main Repair
On February 20, 2025, Halifax Water crews are on site for an emergency water main repair due to third-party construction activity near 509 Herring Cove Road, Halifax. Water service will be temporarily shut down in this area. Currently, there is no estimate for service restoration time.

This work is taking place within an existing construction zone. Please follow all existing safety signage.
Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during or following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Additionally, motorists are reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
