Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Basinview Drive – Water Main Repair

(August 11, 2024) Halifax Water crews are on site for an emergency water main repair near 488 Basinview Drive, Bedford. Customers in this area may experience low water pressure or a temporary loss of water service. No estimate of service restoration time.

Basinview Drive will be closed. Detours will be in place, and experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flow. Sidewalks within the work zone will remain open.

Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
