Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Bruce Street – Water Main Repair

On February 11, 2025, Halifax Water crews are undertaking an emergency water main repair near 15 Bruce Street, Dartmouth. Water service will be temporarily shut down in this area, and as of now, we do not have an estimate for when the service will be restored.

Bruce Street is open to local traffic only, in between Woodlawn Road and Power Street. Please be advised that experienced traffic control personnel will be present on-site to manage traffic flows.

Customers in the area might experience discoloration in their water during or following this repair. It’s recommended for those customers to run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists are advised to expect delays and are suggested to use alternate routes. Please be reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
