Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Chandler Drive & Glendale Drive – Water Main Repair
(August 2, 2022) From 8:00 AM on Wednesday, August 3 to 4:00 PM on Friday, August 5, Halifax Water crews will be repairing a water main near the intersection of Chandler Drive and Glendale Avenue, Lower Sackville. Water service will be maintained during this work. Two-way traffic will be maintained on Glendale Drive. Chandler Drive will be open to local traffic only between Glendale Avenue and Shea Street. Sidewalks within this area will be closed. Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
