Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Crichton Avenue – Water Main Repair

On February 6, 2025, Halifax Water crews will be on-site undertaking an emergency water main repair near 257 Crichton Avenue, Dartmouth. Water service will be temporarily shut down in this area and currently, there is no estimate for when the service might be restored.

Please be informed there will be stop-and-go traffic in the work zone. We have experienced traffic control personnel assigned to manage the traffic flows.

Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during or following this repair. So, it is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists should expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes. Also, please remember that speed fines double in work zones.
