Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Dublin Street – Water Main Repair

On February 12, 2025, Halifax Water crews are on-site undertaking an emergency water main repair near 3025 Dublin Street, Halifax. Water service will be temporarily shut down in this area. We have no estimate of service restoration time at the moment.

In the work zone, there will be stop-and-go traffic. We have experienced traffic control personnel on-site to manage traffic flows efficiently. On the brighter side, sidewalks will stay open.

Customers in the area may notice discoloured water during or following this repair. We suggest those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists should expect occasional delays and use alternate routes if possible. We would also like to remind motorists that speeding fines double in work zones.
