(November 21, 2022) From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on November 22, Halifax Water crews will be on-site undertaking an urgent water main repair on Dutch Village Road, Halifax, between Rosedale Avenue and Sunnybrae Avenue. Water service will be temporarily shut down in this area during this repair. There will be stop-and-go traffic in the work zone. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. The sidewalk near this work will be closed. Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
