Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Ernst Street – Water Valve Repair
(October 13, 2021) From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Tuesday, October 19, Halifax Water crews will be on-site working to repair a water main valve near the intersection of Ernst Avenue and Stanford Street, Halifax. Water service will be temporarily shut down on Ernst Avenue during this work. Ernst Avenue will be open to local traffic only during this work. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks remain open. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones. We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure improvement work may cause.
