Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Herring Cove Road & Keddy Road – Water Valve Replacement
(April 19, 2022) From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Wednesday, April 20, Halifax Water crews will be replacing a water valve near the intersection of Herring Cove Road and Keddy Road, Halifax. Water service will be temporarily shut down on Keddy Road and 44 Herring Cove Road. There will be stop-and-go traffic in the work zone. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks will remain open. Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
