Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Herring Cove Road – Water Lateral Installation
(September 26, 2024) From 10:00 PM on Friday, September 27, to 8:00 AM on Saturday, September 28, Halifax Water crews will be installing a water lateral near 383 Herring Cove Road, Halifax. Impacted water service customers have been notified of this work in advance.
There will be lane drops in both directions in the work area, with two-way traffic maintained. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks within the work zone will be open.
Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure repair work may cause.
