Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Lawnwood Avenue – Water Main Repair

On February 10, 2025, Halifax Water crews are on-site undertaking an emergency water main repair near 23 Lawnwood Avenue, Halifax. Water service will be temporarily shut down in this area. Currently, there is no estimate for when service will be restored.

Lawnwood Avenue is open to local traffic only. Experienced traffic control personnel are on-site to manage traffic flows.

Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended for those customers to run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists should expect delays and consider using alternate routes. As a reminder, speed fines double in work zones.
