Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Murray Street, Dartmouth – Water Main Repair
(Thursday, Feb 16) Halifax Water crews are undertaking an emergency water main repair on Murray Street between Graham St. and Francis St. Water service will be temporarily shut down on Westbrook Ave, Eastbrook Ave and upper Graham. There is no estimate of service restoration time. This work area will be closed traffic, and experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks remain open. Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until it is clear. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
