Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Oxford Street & Jubilee Road – Water Main Repair
(September 24, 2021) From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, on Wednesday, September 29, Halifax Water crews will be working to repair a water main at the intersection of Oxford Street and Jubilee Road, Halifax. Water service will be temporarily shut down on Oxford Street between Jubilee Road and Jennings Street. There will be stop-and-go traffic in the work zone. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks will remain open. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones. We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure improvement work may cause.
