Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Prescott Street – Water System Maintenance
(June 24, 2022) From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, June 26, Halifax Water crews will be repairing a water main on Prescott Street, Halifax. Impacted water service customers have been notified in advance. There will be stop-and-go traffic in this area. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks remain open. Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
