Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Rosedale Avenue – Water Main Repair

On February 26, 2025, Halifax Water crews are on-site, undertaking an emergency water main repair near 123 Rosedale Avenue, Halifax. The water service will be temporarily shut down in this area. We are currently unable to provide an estimate of the service restoration time.

Rosedale Avenue, between Willett Street and Hillcrest Street, will only be open to local traffic. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Please note that the sidewalks will remain open.

Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during or following this repair. If this happens, it is recommended that you run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists should expect delays and might want to consider using alternate routes. We also want to remind motorists that speed fines double in work zones.
