Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Sackville Drive – Water Main Repair
(May 6, 2022) From 10:00 PM on Sunday, May 8, to 6:00 AM on Monday, May 9, Halifax Water crews will be repairing a water main near the intersection of Sackville Drive and Cobequid Road, Lower Sackville. Water service customers who will be impacted by this work have been notified. This work will not impact wastewater or stormwater services. There will be stop-and-go traffic in the work zone. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks remain open. Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
