Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Sackville Drive – Water Valve Repair
(July 20, 2022) From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Thursday, July 21, Halifax Water crews will be repairing a water valve near the intersection of Sackville Drive and Sackville Cross Road, Lower Sackville. This work will not impact Halifax Water services in the area. There will be lane reductions in the area, with two-way traffic maintained. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks remain open. Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones. We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure repair work may cause.
