Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Spryfield Area – Valve Maintenance
(May 15, 2023) From 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Tuesday, May 16, Halifax Water crews will be performing valve maintenance in the Spryfield area. There will be rolling stop-and-go traffic in the Spryfield area. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Customers in the area may experience a change in water pressure and discoloured water during/following this work. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones. We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure repair work may cause.
