Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Tangmere Crescent – Water Main Repair

On February 25, 2025, Halifax Water crews began an emergency water main repair near 14 Tangmere Crescent, Halifax. The water service in this area is likely to experience a temporary shutdown. As of now, there is no estimated time for the restoration of the service.

Currently, Tangmere Crescent is accessible only to local traffic. Experienced traffic control personnel are deployed at the site to manage traffic flows.

If you are in the affected area, you might be noticing discoloured water during or following this repair work. To rectify this, we recommend that you run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists are advised to expect delays and consider using alternate routes. It’s also important to note that speed fines double in the work zones.
