(May 9, 2024) From 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, May 11, Halifax Water crews will be on-site replacing water valves near the intersection of Woodland Avenue and Frederick Street, Dartmouth. Impacted water service customers have been notified in advance of this work.  

There will be stop-and-go traffic in the work zone. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks will remain open.

Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.  

We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure repair work may cause.
