A collision between three motorcycles has claimed the life of an Enfield man. At 5 p.m. on September 3, a lone motorcycle rider travelling East collided head-on with a motorcycle travelling West.
The westbound motorcycle was being driven by a sole rider, and behind that was another motorcycle occupied by two people.
The driver of the eastbound motorcycle died at the scene. The driver of the first westbound bike was transported to hospital via LifeFlight with life threatening injuries.
The driver of the second westbound bike required transport to hospital via ambulance, and the passenger on that bike sustained minor injuries.
An RCMP Traffic Analyst was called to the scene to assist with the investigation. Wentworth Rd. was closed until midnight and has since re-opened.
