Health Canada recalls various PC and Compliments parfait and yogurt bowls

Various parfait and yogurt bowls are currently under recall due to a food safety concern related to microbial contamination, specifically Salmonella. This recall has been issued nationally, affecting a range of products across different brands and sizes.

The recall is due to potential Salmonella contamination, and it’s important not to consume, serve, use, sell, or distribute any of the recalled products. If you suspect that you may have become ill after consuming one of these products, please contact your healthcare provider. Salmonella can cause serious illnesses, especially in young children, pregnant women, the elderly, and individuals with weakened immune systems. Even healthy individuals may experience symptoms such as fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea. It’s crucial to discard or return any recalled products to the location where they were purchased.

This recall was initiated following a recall in another country, and as of now, there have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is actively conducting a food safety investigation, which may result in further product recalls.
