Hello [City]

From July 7-21 I’ll be on the Emerald Isle, sipping pints of Guinness and stuffing my face with boxties (that doesn’t sound as dirty as it really is). While away I’m going to run a very special series of East Coast Guest Posts and am inviting you to write an open letter to your city. It can be a rant, a love letter, or whatever else your heart desires.

Now it wouldn’t be an “East Coast” post without some sort of tie-in so here’s the deal: you can be living anywhere in the world, writing about any city in the world, but you have to have considered the East Coast home at some point (whether you were born here or not). Savvy?

Anything goes, but here are some guidelines: 600-800 words, with a bio (and link to your site if you have one), and you can provide your own photos if you like (giving credit where credit is due) or I’ll just scavenge some Creative Commons pics from Flickr. It’s essentially first-come, first serve and the spots fill up quickly so let me know as soon as possible.
