Help RCMP find driver of truck involved in collision

The RCMP is asking for​ public help​ to​ find​ a driver​ involved in a collision with a utility pole on Caldwell Dr. in​ Eastern Passage​ this morning.

At approximately 11:40 a.m., Halifax District RCMP​ got a​ call​ that a​ truck​ collided with​ a utility pole near the intersection of Caldwell Rd. and Shore Rd. and then turned​ westbound​ on Shore Rd.

Upon arrival, police learned that​ a dark blue 2007 GMC truck with​ Nova Scotia​ license plate​ number MAA95 was driving southbound in the 2000 block of Caldwell Rd. It appeared to narrowly miss colliding with a white Jeep then collided head-on with the​ utility pole and came to rest in a ditch. The pole and vehicle sustained damage in the collision.​ The truck backed out of the ditch and continued southbound on Caldwell Rd and then turned westbound on Shore Rd.
