Help support Minutes, buy an engraved board for $100

Below is a letter from Iaian Archibald, chair of the Coastal Access Committee:

After years of working towards permanent access to the Minutes surf break in Cow Bay, we are now very close.

The city will be buying some property after it passes an environmental assessment, and a private donor has stepped forward to help out with infrastructure costs.

Understandably both parties want to see a monetary commitment from the surfing community.

Towards this goal, we are selling engraved boards on the property’s boardwalk when it is built for $100 each.

The board can have your name on it, a friend’s name, the name of an organization or business.

Names will take up approximately 1/8th of the right hand side of the boards.

Unfortunately, we are unable to give tax receipts because we do not have charitable status.

Surf shops where you can purchase boards:

Kannon Beach Surf Shop
Dacane Surf Shop
If Only Surf Shop

To purchase boards by mail, send cheques to:

Coastal Access Committee
A-5781 Sarah Street
Halifax Nova Scotia
B3K 1H4

Please make checks out to the Coastal Access Committee, and please include your email address, phone number and the name you would like on the board.
