Herring Cove Road corner store robbed

On August 23 at approximately 1:45 a.m. police received a report that a robbery had occurred at the Needs convenience store located at 33 Herring Cove Road. A man entered the store, produced a weapon, demanded money and then fled on foot with a quantity of cash and cigarettes.

The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 32-years-old, 5’7” tall, thin build with light brown hair in a ponytail. He was wearing a grey t-shirt, blue pants, black shoes and a blue medical mask at the time of the incident.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information about the incident or video from the area to call 902-490-5020.
