HRP release:

In accordance with the Nova Scotia Release of High-Risk Offender Information Protocol, Halifax Regional Police is advising all citizens, particularly those in the Halifax region, that a high-risk offender is residing in our community.

Gamon Jay Leacock, 49 year-old, was released from a correctional facility after completing a sentence for robbery (x 9), sexual assault with a weapon (x 2), forcible confinement (x 2), administer a noxious thing (x 2), uttering threats (x 6), criminal harassment, escape lawful custody, assault (x 2), assault a peace officer with weapon, theft under $5000, fail to comply, fail to stop at a motor vehicle accident, and intimidation of justice participant.
