March 14, 2013, Miller Lake, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) . . . The RCMP would like advise the motoring public that Highway 102 is shut down at Miller Lake due to a collision.

 

At approximately 6:15 p.m., RCMP responded to a 911 call about a single vehicle collision that rolled several times. Preliminary investigation revealed the female driver was ejected from the vehicle, she was taken to hospital by LifeFlight while the female passenger was transported to hospital by ambulance. Their injuries are believed to be serious.

The RCMP would like to advise the motoring public that the inbound lane is expected to be close for two hours, traffic is being re-routed through Highway 2. A traffic re-constructionist is attending the scene and the investigation is continuing.
