Highway 102 reduced to one lane as RCMP investigate serious collision, Stewiacke, N.S.

The RCMP would like to advise motorists that Highway 102 inbound is reduced to one lane at exit #11 (Stewiacke) due to a collision.

At approximately 2:20 p.m.

, RCMP, Emergency Health Services, Stewiacke, Hilden and Brookfield Fire Departments responded to a 911 call about a southbound vehicle that crashed into the bridge and landed onto the roadway. The three occupants were transported to hospital by ambulance with undetermined injuries. Due to blowing snow, visibility was poor at the time.

The RCMP would like to advise motorists to expect delays for the next hour. The investigation is continuing.
