Highway 14 is closed as RCMP investigate multiple collisions, Mill Section, N.S.

The RCMP would like to advise the motoring public that Highway 14 is closed in both directions between Martock and Smith’s Corner.

At approximately 7:00 a.m. today, Windsor RCMP, Emergency Health Services and the Windsor Fire Dept responded to a single vehicle roll over collision with injuries.

While first responders were responding to this initial accident, they were informed of the second collision involving three vehicles in the same area of the initial collision. One person was pronounced dead at the scene of this second collision.

At this time the extent of injuries is unknown. A collision reconstructionist has been called in to assist with the investigations. The investigations are ongoing and more details will follow. RCMP expect the highway to remain closed for approximately three hours.
