Update:
At 8:20 p.m. last evening, Lunenburg District RCMP was called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision in Hebb’s Cross, at the intersection of Conquerall Rd. and Hwy. 103. When police arrived on scene, they located a severely damaged small car, and a tractor trailer that had rolled on to its side.
The driver of the car, a 50-year-old man from Chelsea, Lunenburg Co., was deceased. The driver of the truck was not injured, while the female passenger of the truck was transported to hospital with minor injuries. Initial investigation has determined that the car was travelling West, and crossed the centre line, coming into the path of the eastbound truck.
Highway 103 was closed from the time of the collision until 9:30 this morning.

The RCMP wish to notify the motoring public of a vehicle collision at the intersection of Camperdown Road and Highway 103 in Hebb’s Cross. As a result, Highway 103 will be closed until further notice between Exit 14 and Exit 16. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area or use an alternate route if possible.
