At 11:00 am Sunday a hiker called 911 indicating he believed he discovered human remains along a hiking trail near Fox Lake.  The Hiker indicated he was approximately a half an hour in the trail.

Patrol officers attended and secured the scene.  Members of the Integrated Major Crime unit, Forensic Identification Unit along with the Medial Examiners office attended the scene.  It is believed the remains have been there for some time.  It is expected that police investigators will be present overnight.  This area is in behind Kearney Lake off of Belle St and Collins Rd.
