Hiltz v. T.K. Palmer and Sons Contracting Inc.


An independent Nova Scotia human rights board of inquiry in the case of David Hiltz of Centreville v. T.K. Palmer and Sons Contracting Inc., Berwick, is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, Sept. 14. The board of inquiry will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Super 8 Hotel, 63 Cole Drive, Windsor.

Mr. Hiltz alleges that he was discriminated against on the basis of his mental disability while employed by T.K. Palmer and Sons. The company denies the allegation.

The board chair is Nelson Blackburn. He is independent of the commission which is a party representing the public interest at the board of inquiry.
