On June 25th at about 7:06 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a hit and run involving 3 adult bicyclists.
According to the riders they were outbound on Old Sambro Road in the 1300 block when they were passed by a white van which struck the lead rider who went down. Then one of the other two cyclists ran into the downed bike. None of the cyclists reported any serious injuries. The vehicle is described as a white panel van with no rear windows and a roof rack on the top, the cyclist did not observe the license.  It is unclear if the van driver was even aware that a cyclist was struck and the van continued on the Old Sambro Road outbound.
