Home invasion in Truro

Last evening shortly after midnight Truro police responded to a robbery at a residence on Bayview St. in Truro.

The homeowner said 2 males entered his apartment, pointed a firearm (shotgun) at him and demanded money. They left after getting a small amount of cash.

From the investigation, two males have been arrested and are being detained pending a court appearance. One male, age 22 from Millbrook, was arrested at a residence there. The other male, a 27 year old from Hilden,  was arrested at a residence in Hilden.

The firearm, vehicle used and other evidence related property has been seized.

Assisting in the arrest of both males were the Millbrook RCMP and the Colchester RCMP.
