I only have this photo above of the pita chips before they went into the oven because they honestly went that fast! Sorry!
Ingredients:
- One package of small whole wheat pita bread (approx 5 pitas)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp onion powder
- 1/8 tsp paprika
- 1/8 tsp ground mustard
- 1/8 tsp of black pepper
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
Preheat oven 350 degreesCut pitas in half using clean kitchen scissors, and then cut each of those half into fours (8 pieces in total). Combine olive oil and spices in a small mason jar and cover and shake. Set aside.
Brush cookie sheet with a thin layer of olive oil.
Spread out pita triangles in a single layer on cookie sheet.
Brush on the spice mixture over the tops of all the triangles.
Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
Enjoy with your favorite dips! Might I suggest this navy bean and spinach dip or this avocado soup recipe.
Sorry for the lack of recipe posts lately blog readers; although I’ve been cooking it’s not any new recipes. Promise to ship up and post more recipe posts soon!
