11:15pm 0-100 Block Primrose St, Dartmouth

At 11:15pm Halifax Police responded to an apartment in the 0-100 block of Primrose St in Dartmouth. The caller stated that his friend had been stabbed.  Upon arrival the officers located a 37 year old male victim that had been stabbed in the stomach area. The victim was rushed to the QEII hospital where he passed away. No arrests have been made.

Robbery

Robie St/Spring Garden Rd, Halifax

12:30am Robie St/ Spring Garden Rd, Halifax

The 21 year old male victim was walking on Robie St when he was approached by  a male suspect. The suspect pointed a hand gun at the victim and demanded his back pack. The victim, when he handed over the back pack, pushed the suspect’s gun away. The suspect then ran away with the victim’s back pack.

The suspect was not located and the incident is still under investigation.

The suspect is described as white male, grey hooded sweatshirt, mid to late 20’s, 6’ tall.
