Hood Street – Street Closure

Tuesday, August 25, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that Hood Street, from Windsor Street to Intercolonial Street, will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26, and continuing until 9 p.m. on Friday, August 28.

This street closure is required to accommodate the installation of new water main.  The closure will be in place 24-hours-a-day during this time period.

Residents of Hood Street can access properties from the Windsor Street entrance of the street. A temporary entrance to Intercolonial will be in place near the intersection of Kempt Road and Hood Street.
