Friday, Sept. 23, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that Hornes Road in Eastern Passage will remain closed between Cow Bay Road and Caldwell Road until Friday, Sept. 30, to accommodate work related to a bridge replacement.
The work includes removing the existing bridge and constructing a new bridge. There is a temporary pedestrian bridge installed near the location of the existing bridge to accommodate foot traffic across the waterway during construction.
During the road closure local traffic will be detoured around the work site by Briarwood Drive.
The municipality regrets any inconvenience this road closure may cause.
