We love long luscious lashes, but unfortunately, we are not all blessed in that department. After years of dance recitals (and after that one time a girl glued my eye shut) I’ve gotten pretty good at applying false lashes. Here’s a quick how-to video to show you some of my tips and tricks for applying false lashes like a pro.
When applying your false lashes it’s best to apply them second to last (from your mascara). Applying them last will prevent you from getting all your other makeup on them, as well as prevent you from disrupting them, and likely needing to reapply.
A lot of beauty professionals go back and forth on this one, but I find for people starting out, it’s best to add them last.
When choosing your lashes try to consider the look you’re going for, as well as your own eye shape and lashes. If you want a natural look go for lashes that are sort of wispy rather than really thick or lashes that are concentrated or close together. These type of lashes will add more length rather than bulk, and likely appear more natural. A lot of times when I wear false lashes people have no idea (and I kind of like to keep it that way).
Δ Kiss Black Lash Glue (This can be tricky to find, so if you do buy a couple)
Δ Makeupforever Excessive Lash Mascara
Δ Cotton Swaps (to clean up and smudges)
Δ Tweezers (if you want to use them to apply the lash)
