So here’s what’s on the radar this weekend:
Friday the 13th
Not an unlucky day if you love vintage clothing and getting a good deal. Love, Me Boutique and Make New Vintage are teaming up again for another pop up shop. This time the theme is Country Grafik.
Did you notice the bits about 50% off AND a $10 bin? Oui. C’est awesome.
I kind of want to get all Norma Jean out in the country
I hear there will be nautical stripes somewhere in the collection. Which I will fight you for.
Saturday, May 14
Boutique Joliette (1870 Hollis Street, at Duke) is showcasing the work of Halifax designer Susan Johnston and jeweller Peter Bauer from 10am – 6pm on Saturday:
Susan’s Spring 2011 collection is entitled Eden (like our intern!) and will feature strong floral motifs and vibrant colors, while Peter’s So Much Shimmer has got a giant looking ring I would totally wear for cocktails.
