HRM’s 2011 summer season for life guarding started July 1 for all HRM beaches and outdoor pools (Bedford outdoor pool and Halifax Common). Daily supervision at most beach sites and the Halifax Common is from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Please note there is no weekend supervision at some locations. For information on a specific beach, please contact the HRM Beach Office by calling 490-5458.
