At approximately 12:10 am on June 1st Halifax Regional Police officers responded to a report of possible gunshots being heard in the area of Prince Albert Rd and Lawrence St in Dartmouth. Upon their arrival, officers obtained information that indicated that two potential gunshots had been heard in the area, however, it had occurred approximately 10 minutes prior to police being called.
Officers and K9 searched the area, but were unable to locate any evidence. At this time there is no additional information known relating to the persons responsible.
The investigation will continue and will be conducted by members of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division.
