Last night at 9:55 p.m., Halifax Regional Police officers responded to street level robbery on Clifton Street near Garrick Lane in Halifax. A 19-year-old man was walking on Clifton Street when the suspect attacked the victim from behind, threw him to the ground and kicked the victim during the assault. The suspect took the victim’s cell phone and wallet and fled the area north of Clifton. Members of the Integrated HRP/RCMP General Investigative Section are currently investigating the matter. The victim was taken to the QE2 Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect is described as a Middle Eastern/Arabic Male, 6’0 tall and dressed in black.
