HRP investigate robbery in Halifax

At approxi­mately 2:05 pm Halif­ax Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery at the C Shop located at 6141 Young St in Hali­fax.  On arrival it was determined that a man had entered the store and demanded money from the cash­ier.  A quantity of money was turned over to the man before he fled the area tow­ard Young St.  There was no weapon seen or indicated in this robbery and no inju­ries to the cashier.  The suspect is des­cribed as: a white man, in his 30’s, scr­uffy facial hair, we­aring a puffy dark colored jacket, a dark colored touque, bl­ue jeans and black shoes.  Members of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Divi­sion will be continu­ing the investigatio­n.  Part of that inv­estigation will be to determine if this robbery is linked to another robbery that occurred overnight at the Shell Gas Station located at 2616 Robie Street in Halifax.
